Early-morning fire displaces 6 in Orlando

Orlando firefighters were at a burning home early Thursday in the Richmond Heights neighborhood.

Crews responded before 2:30 a.m. to the 1700 block of Flores Court, the Orlando Fire Department said on social media.

The post included photos showing what firefighters said was a single bedroom fire.

The crews made entry and quickly put the fire out, the post states.

No injuries or extension of the fire were reported, firefighters said.

The Red Cross is assisting five adults and a child who were displaced by the fire, according to the fire department.
