Person airlifted after being stabbed in Homestead: Police

An investigation is underway in Homestead after a person was stabbed on Sunday morning, police said.

According to Homestead Police, officers at around 6: 30 a.m. arrived at the 900 block of North Krome Avenue after receiving reports that someone had been stabbed.

Once at the scene, the victim was found in front of La Piedra Bar and Lounge, and they were airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center.

The victim’s identity or condition was not released.

Police did not release a description of a suspect.
