Firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire Tuesday morning in the Sweetwater neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Crews were dispatched to a home around 6:50 a.m. on Fuegus Drive near Cartegena Court and Lane Avenue South.
According to JFRD, two adults in their 60s were inside the home when the fire broke out.
A man was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Red Cross assistance was requested.
JFRD did not release the cause of the fire, but said it believes it was accidental.
