A car crashed into a canal in Fort Myers on Monday morning, leading to a response from multiple emergency teams.
The crash happened shortly after midnight on Colonial Boulevard between Page Field Airport and Metro Parkway.
A Gulf Coast News reporter on the scene spoke to Fort Myers Police officers, who said there were no reported injuries in the crash.
The officers said the car could have been traveling east when the driver lost control and crashed into the canal.
The car has since been towed, and the scene has been cleared.
