A shipping container fell from a tractor-trailer at a Hillsborough County intersection, knocking out traffic signals for several hours, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
This happened at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the corner of 50th Street and Causeway Boulevard.
Troopers say a 52-year-old Seffner man was turning left in his tractor-trailer when an improperly secured shipping container fell off.
The container hit a traffic signal control box at the intersection, causing the traffic lights to malfunction for several hours.
No one was hurt.
