A fire reignited at a home along Cutlass Drive on North Captiva Island Tuesday night.
Upper Captiva fire commissioner Duncan Rosen confirmed the fire reignited at the same house.
A neighbor told Gulf Coast News the whole house burned down.
Gulf Coast News is working to learn more about the fire.
Crews originally responded to a fire that erupted at the home earlier in the day.
Earlier Tuesday, Upper Captiva Fire Department officials said it was a “very horrific scene when they arrived,” and firefighters were able to put it out quickly. There were no known injuries.
Fire officials believed a golf cart that was parked under the structure may have been the origin of the blaze earlier.
This is a developing story.
