Eastbound lanes on Marsh Landing Parkway blocked after crash

Drivers are asked to continue eastbound on J. Turner Butler Boulevard and exit at A1A to avoid congestion.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol said on Thursday, a person stole a car in Ponte Vedra and crashed into another car on Marsh Landing Parkway.

FHP said the person did some laps around the Target parking lot, then went out to Marsh Landing and crashed into a red Jeep.

There were no injuries to the suspect or the victim, and the suspect is now in custody, officials said.

The eastbound lanes on Marsh Landing Parkway are blocked. Drivers should expect severe backups when exiting J. Turner Boulevard eastbound at Marsh Landing Parkway. Continue eastbound on JTB and exit at A1A to avoid congestion.
