LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) — A crash involving a bicyclist briefly shut down traffic along a major intersection in Lakeland Thursday.
According to Lakeland police, the crash happened between a vehicle and a bicyclist at the intersection of Pyramid Parkway & the southbound lanes of US-98.
A traffic camera from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement showed a black SUV being towed. A bicycle could also be seen on the ground next to a police vehicle.
The intersection was closed to traffic while officers cleared the scene. The I-4 exit onto US-98 was also affected.
At this time, the conditions of those involved is not known.
