A plane crashed early Saturday morning are into the bushes near a runway in Upper Captiva. The five people on board are doing okay.

The Sanibel and Captiva Chamber of Commerce says four people on board were not hurt. The plane lost a wing and crashed into the bushes.

The Upper Captiva Fire Department says it is working on the crash. The Lee County Sheriff’s office says their teams are aware of the crash and are investigating. LCSO confirmed that five people were on board at the time of the crash.
