SECO Energy was on the scene of a downed pole Wednesday morning after it was knocked to the ground by a driver that crashed in a median in The Villages.
The accident occurred on Buena Vista Boulevard at the entrance to the Village of Calumet Grove in the Marion County section of The Villages.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office originally responded to the scene of the crash, which is not far from its substation at Mulberry Grove.
The investigation has been turned over to the Florida Highway Patrol.
