Driver sought after man, 28, killed in hit-and-run in West Palm Beach, cops say

A driver accused in a fatal hit-and-run in West Palm Beach on Monday is on the loose, police said.

According to West Palm Beach Police, officers arrived at the 4900 block of South Olive Avenue after receiving reports of a crash.

At the scene, officers found a man who was dead in the roadway and found an electric scooter nearby.

The man was identified as 28-year-old B.

Investigators said B was going home after working at a local restaurant.

They believe that the car that struck B had damage to its front-end or passenger side.

An investigation into the hit-and-run remains active.
