A 40-year-old man died after a truck he was working under rolled off its ramps and on top of him, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to a residence on Sanborn Lane around 2:09 p.m. on Friday.
According to a news release, two people returned to the home and found the man unresponsive under the vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
Deputies said no suspicious circumstances or signs of foul play were found in the initial death investigation.
“The incident appears to be a tragic accident,” deputies said in the release.
