Alachua County fire rescue crew say mobile home is a ‘total loss’ following fire

A fire burned up a mobile home just west of Hawthorne.

Alachua County firefighters found the home along Southeast 167th Street completely covered in flames at around 7:30 Tuesday evening.

They were able to put out the flames but say the home was a total loss.

They have not confirmed if anyone was in the home at the time of the fire.
