An Amtrak train and a vehicle collided Wednesday morning in Opa-locka.

Sky 10 was above the area of Northwest 135th Street and Cairo Lane shortly after 8:30 a.m. as the train remained stopped on the tracks.

The vehicle appeared to have been already towed away and traffic was slowly moving past the train tracks.

Pieces of the vehicle could been seen off to the side of the tracks.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed that no injuries were reported.

It’s unclear whether the driver stopped on the tracks and got trapped between vehicles during the morning rush hour or whether he or she tried to beat the train.

The incident remains under investigation.
