One person was injured after deputies say an argument between acquaintances escalated into a stabbing in Lehigh Acres.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene on Vernon Avenue South late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
LCSO said that two acquaintances were in an argument when one stabbed the other.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was quickly located and detained by deputies, according to LCSO.
The investigation is still ongoing, and the Violent Crimes Unit is on the scene.
