A 40-year-old man from Ave Maria is dead and two other people are injured following a vehicle crash on State Road 29, north of I-75 in Collier County, early Saturday morning.

According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford Fusion driven by the 40-year-old man was traveling north on SR-29. A Chevy Silverado driven by a 21-year-old from Felda with a 59-year-old from Washington in the passenger seat was traveling south on SR-29.
