Vehicle overturned after rear-end collision on State Road 81.
One man is dead after being thrown from his vehicle and trapped underneath it.
On Wednesday, around 3 p.m., a pickup truck and a vehicle carrying a trailer were heading south on State Road 81.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the truck failed to slow down for the other vehicle and hit the rear end of the trailer. The collision sent both vehicles off the west shoulder of the road.
The pickup truck came to a rest in the ditch. The vehicle carrying the trailer began to overturn, throwing the driver out and trapping him underneath it.
FHP says the man was pronounced dead.
