Armed driver arrested after Palm Beach road rage incident, police report

A West Palm Beach man took road rage to a dangerous level Wednesday when he allegedly pulled a revolver on a woman in a tense encounter in Palm Beach.

According to the victim’s statement, she was driving on Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach when she honked at a black BMW, driven by D Mr for being too close to her vehicle.

As both cars proceeded eastbound toward the town of Palm Beach, the victim told officers that M pointed a grey revolver in the air toward the roof of his car.

When the two cars were again side-by-side in traffic, she attempted to take a photo of M when he pointed the revolver in the air for the second time before pointing it in the woman’s direction, according to the Palm Beach Police Department (PBPD).

Officers say they received statements from both M and the victim, with the victim stating that she felt threatened and wished to prosecute.

M was booked for aggravated assault and improper exhibition of a firearm, with officers noting that he displayed the gun in a rude, careless, angry, and threatening manner, not necessarily in self-defense.
