Arrests made after girls attack boy in front of his home, Riviera Beach police say

A teenager was arrested this week after she and three other girls allegedly showed up at the home of a 14-year-old boy, looking to pick a fight.

The boy told investigators that he was returning from a park around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday to find the four of them already in front of his Riviera Beach home and his little brother crying. The Riviera Beach Police Department alleges they did not have permission to be at the home and started hitting him.

The victim told his brother to get a knife so he could defend himself, and then chased them off with it, the probable cause affidavit stated. The victim knew two of the four others involved and was able to give the police department their names immediately, and he was able to positively identify the other pair later.

According to the affidavit, one of the group, Angel Walkes, 18, was booked into the Palm Beach County jail on a count of burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The other three girls were all minors; at least two of them face allegations of burglary with battery.

The affidavit did not indicate what led to the confrontation.
