BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A bicyclist died from his injuries after a deadly collision with a vehicle on Military Trail in an unincorporated Boynton Beach on Saturday.
According to a traffic report, a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northbound on Military Trail around noon approaching the intersection with La Chalet Blvd.
Deputies say a bicycle, ridden by 64-year-old Jose Paulo De Liz, was traveling eastbound in the crosswalk on Military Trail when the truck had a green light.
According to the report, the bicycle traveled into the path of the vehicle which struck the bike and ejected them.
The rider sustained critical injuries and was transported to Delray Medical Center where he died from his injuries on Tuesday morning.
