Bicyclist dies of injuries in collision with pickup truck

A Zephyrhills man was seriously injured and later died after he collided with a truck while riding his bicycle.

On Aug. 26 at 10:02 a.m., a Chevy Silverado driven by a 29-year-old Zephyrhills man was traveling east on Chancey Road.

The bicycle, operated by a 40-year-old Zephyrhills man, was traveling west on Chancey Road in the eastbound lane.

Just west of Zephyr Preserve Place, the Chevy collided with the bicycle.
