A 65-year-old Venice man was injured Saturday afternoon when his bicycle collided with a car near the intersection of U.S. 41 and Laurel Road.
Shortly after 4 p.m., the bicyclist was attempting to cross U.S. 41 when he entered the path of a car driven by an 81-year-old Englewood woman, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
