A male bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning in southwest Miami-Dade, authorities confirmed.
The crash happened around 4:43 a.m. as the bicyclist was traveling north on Southwest 147th Avenue, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said the driver, a man, remained at the scene.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene.
Deputies have not disclosed the bicyclist’s age or identity at this time.
