When they arrived, police said the bicyclist was still alive and they performed life-saving measures but he died at the scene.
A man in his 60s was riding his bike west on East Fowler Avenue against the flow of traffic when a 2013 black Chrysler 200 attempted to exit a commercial plaza and struck him.
The driver of the Chrysler 200 remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
