A boat caught on fire inside a Dania Beach canal on Sunday afternoon.
The blaze, which started just after 1 p.m., sent black smoke billowing into the air.
It was located in a canal between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and I-95, just north of Griffin Road.
Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue sent ground and water units to help put out the flames.
No injuries were reported as a result the fire.
It’s unclear at this time how it started.
