The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and other agencies are investigating after a boat crashed into a dock Sunday night, sending multiple people to the hospital.
According to FWC, the incident happened when a single vessel with four people on board was traveling across Lake Kennedy when it ran into a dock.
Three of the occupants were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Cape Coral Police Department, the Cape Coral Fire Department and Lee County Emergency Medical Services all responded to the scene.
It is unclear what caused the boat to crash into the dock, but NBC2 saw multiple crews searching around the dock before midnight.
FWC says this is an active investigation.
