A near head-on crash at Jog and Flavor Pict Roads slowed traffic and landed two in the hospital on Sunday morning in Boynton Beach, according to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR).
The collision images posted to the PBCFR Facebook page show both cars smashed from the front impact; however, the cars’ doors had minimal deformity or damage.
Due to safety systems, and front crumple zones, PBCFR says the impact was absorbed and didn’t intrude into the passenger compartment.
Two people were transported to a local hospital despite seatbelts and airbags deployed, according to the post.
