Boynton Beach man arrested for attempted murder following shooting incident

Boynton Beach police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that left a man injured Monday night. The incident happened near Northeast Second Street, where officers found the victim, identified as K B.

The suspect, X R, reportedly told police that he believed B was carrying a gun as he rode his bicycle up and down the street. However, authorities confirmed that B was unarmed.

Detectives also discovered that R and B had been involved in a physical altercation shortly before the shooting.
