A Bradenton woman was killed after she collided with a “Do Not Enter” sign after flying off her motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Just after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, the 37-year-old was traveling south on North Honore Avenue, approaching a curve north of Athletes Drive in Sarasota.
The woman veered out of the lane and flew off her motorcycle.
FHP said the motorcyclist collided with a “Do Not Enter” sign. Despite wearing a helmet, she died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
