A Brevard County man is accused of shooting into a Titusville home 10 times with people inside, leading to his arrest more than a week later.
“It’s absolutely frightening. We’re in a residential neighborhood and there’s children around and 10 shots … that’s quite a lot,” said an unidentified neighbor in Titusville.
The neighbor did not want to show her face or give her name. She says the shooting into her neighbor’s home on Ellis Circle Avenue has shocked residents here.
News that an arrest has been made is a relief.
“I hope they’re finally able to do something. I’m glad that there’s been an arrest made. It’s just a very sad situation that things like that happen,” the neighbor said.
In the arrest affidavit, Titusville police detectives detailed the case against the suspect, Javone Williams.
They say Williams was with friends who had a dispute with people inside the home.
