Broward man, 60, accused of squeezing minor’s testicles outside of apartment.

A 60-year-old man from Broward County is facing multiple charges after deputies say he grabbed a minor’s testicles and then exposed his penis to him on Sunday.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies said they were called to a location that wasn’t publicly released in an arrest report in reference to a sexual battery call.

Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim, who claimed John Shrock, of Oakland Park, unlawfully “grabbed and squeezed” his testicles while he was outside of Shrock’s apartment, according to authorities.

The victim told BSO deputies that he was playing with a friend outside on Thursday when Shrock approached him with his dog.

The victim then asked Shrock if he could walk his dog in the grass area and noticed that Shrock had an electric scooter and asked if he could have it as a gift, according to an arrest report.

Shrock denied the victim’s request, saying he had bought the scooter for $500, the report stated.

Deputies said the victim told them Sunday that he and a friend walked back to Shrock’s apartment and asked if he could buy the scooter for $50.

Without answering the victim’s question, Shrock opened his apartment door and squeezed his testicles while he was fully clothed, according to authorities.

The victim asked Shrock, “What are you doing?,” at which time Shrock winked at him, unbuckled his pants and exposed his penis to the minors, according to the report.

The victim told deputies that while Shrock’s penis was exposed, he stated, “come inside,” at which time the boy looked away, began to cry and then left the area, the report stated.

The victim told deputies when he and his friend arrived back at his house, he told his father about the incident. The father then contacted law enforcement, deputies said.

After being taken into custody, detectives said Shrock denied all allegations and asked for legal counsel.

Shrock faces one count each of promoting sexual activity on a victim younger than 16 years old, lewd and lascivious behavior on a minor and indecent exposure of sexual organs, according to jail records.

As of Tuesday, he was being held at the Broward Main Jail, where his total bond was set at $125,000.
