A suspect was arrested after deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office said he stabbed a man in Pompano Beach Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 10 a.m. near the 1700 block of Blount Road.

Upon arrival, deputies said they found a man suffering from a minor laceration.

“The preliminary investigation revealed two men were involved in an altercation and one man cut the other with a knife,” BSO spokesperson Claudinne Caro said in a news release.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene when investigators took the suspect into custody.
