A 62-year-old Live Oak woman was crucially injured when a car attempting to park hit an empty car sending it through the exterior wall of Fusion Buffet.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report a 69-year-old Jasper man was attempting to enter a parking stall in the Fusion Buffet parking lot at 6835 US Highway 129 in Live Oak at 2:23 p.m. when the front right side of the vehicle collided with an unoccupied parked car in front of the restaurant.
The unoccupied car entered the paved walkway in front of the restaurant, hit two pedestrians and collided with the exterior wall of the building. One of the pedestrians entered the building through the exterior wall and collided with a seated customer in the interior of the business.
Two pedestrians – a 63-year-old Live Oak man and a 47-year-old Live Oak woman – received minor injuries.
The driver and an 80-year-old Jasper woman riding in the vehicle also received minor injuries.
