Around 1 a.m., a white sedan crashed into a parking awning pole along Porto Nuevo Drive off Three Oaks Parkway.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the driver received a citation.
The sedan had damage to the front.
Caution tape was wrapped around the poles that held up the parking awning.
