Investigations are underway after a Port Charlotte homeowner was woken up to a car crashing into her home Tuesday morning.
Gulf Coast News crews on the scene spoke with the homeowner along Lake Shor Circle.
She told crews that she was woken up by the car crashing into her home around 3:17 a.m.
One of the homeowner’s trucks has damage to it as well.
The homeowner said the driver had to be speeding because the truck was parked straight in the driveway and was pushed over.
There’s also minor damage to the garage and the screening with some broken glass on the ground.
The homeowner told Gulf Coast News no one inside the home was hurt.
