Miami police are investigating what led up to a crash Thursday morning that left a blue car on top of a fire hydrant.
The crash was reported at 6:38 a.m. in the area of Northwest Second Place and 62nd Street.
According to Officer Mike Vega, who is also a spokesman for the police department, the blue Toyota Corolla collided with a dump truck before coming to a final rest on top of the fire hydrant.
He said both drivers refused to be evaluated by Miami Fire Rescue.
It’s unclear what led up to the crash and whether either of the drivers will be cited.
