Wednesday morning, Sarasota County Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 7000 block of S. Tamiami Trail.
A call came in around 8:27 a.m., and one patient is being transported to the hospital for their injuries. The fire was put out in approximately nine minutes.
This occurred at an Avis rental car establishment
Reports were made of a vehicle explosion, however, Sarasota County Fire crews say there was no explosion.
