Thursday, Panama City fire crews responded to an afternoon house fire. According to the Panama City Fire Department, around 5:03 p.m. crews were called to a home on Briarcliff Road and found smoke coming from the roof. A structure fire on Stella Street sent one person to the hospital as a trauma alert, according to the Fort Myers Fire Department.
