Port St. Lucie police on Monday released the name of a moped rider who was killed in a hit-and-run crash late Friday night. Police said Gardy Petit-Frere, 37, of Port St. Lucie, was riding a moped when he was struck by a GMC pickup truck at approximately 11:15 p.m. at Southwest Airoso Boulevard and Southwest Todd Avenue. A man is in jail after shooting and killing his husband, 66-year-old Benjamin Renwick in a Boynton Beach home Tuesday night, the Boynton Beach Police Department said. A Florida woman was arrested after deputies said she was driving drunk in the middle of Hurricane Debby on Monday.
