A 21-year-old man was indicted on Tuesday in connection to his mom’s murder last month, according to the State Attorney’s Office. On July 30, Donald Donell Jamison allegedly shot two people at the El Sol de Mexico Bar & Grill in Brooksville and fled the scene, officials said. Nearly 20 animals starving and living in filth were confiscated from a home in Melbourne this week. The homeowner was taken into custody on several animal abuse charges.  Deputies confiscated a golden retriever named Sunny, two birds, and more than a dozen cats from a home on Coventry Street in Melbourne.
