According to Gainesville Fire Rescue, firefighters responded to calls to a home on Southwest 4th Avenue that was on fire just after 2:30 Monday morning. 60-year-old Uber driver killed, 2 Navy sailors seriously injured in Escambia County crash

A 60-year-old Pensacola man has died and two US Navy Sailors are seriously injured after a crash on Gulf Beach Highway and Navy Boulevard Saturday morning. The man was driving for Uber in a Subaru sedan with two US Navy Sailors, a 28-year-old New York man, and a 22-year-old Iowa man as passengers around 4:05 a.m., according to FHP. Woman dies after being struck by car in Pensacola

A woman died after she was hit by a car Saturday night on Pace Blvd and Gadsden Street. Police say officers responded to a call around 11:40 p.m. regarding the woman who had been hit. Woman dead, deputy hospitalized in yesterday’s crash on Oil Well Road

Photo by: UC Breaking News. A 59-year-old Naples woman died after a collision on Oil Well Road Thursday afternoon. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an unmarked Collier County Sheriff’s Office vehicle and a Toyota Rav 4, owned by the 59-year-old woman, were the two involved in the fatal wreck. The woman’s identity was not released. A Collier County deputy involved in the crash sustained minor injuries and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies: 1 dead after hit and run in Polk County

A man was killed after he tried to cross State Road 60 in Polk County on Saturday night. Maximino Amiltempa, 39, walked onto the road and was hit by a 59-year-old who was driving around 10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of State Road 60 near Turner Road in Mulberry, according to deputies.
