According to Holmes Beach police, the Jeep went all the way into Gypsea Tides off Marina Drive around noon. Investigators say two of the three victims suffered broken bones, but their injuries are not life-threatening. According to police, the crash happened near East Hillsborough Avenue and North 50th Street, and the other vehicle involved in the crash left the scene.  There was a significant presence of law enforcement officers along Deltona’s Fisher St. shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday.   The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were investigating a deadly shooting and that the shooter was at the scene and being interviewed by detectives. “One person is deceased. Initial reports on scene indicate the shooting stemmed from a traffic dispute,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a post on the social media platform “X.” This investigation is active and ongoing.

A 56-year-old Casselberry woman was killed in a head-on crash Thursday evening in Seminole County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The fatal two-vehicle wreck happened around 6 p.m. on North Street near Fairview Avenue, east of I-4. The FHP said the woman was driving a 2011 Toyota Scion east on North Street and veered into the westbound lane for an unknown reason. The woman’s car struck the front a 2023 Ford Mustang driven by a 51-year-old Altamonte Springs man, the FHP said.
