One person was injured and trauma-alerted to a hospital after a fire broke out at the Goodlette Arms Apartments around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Greater Naples Fire Rescue District and other fire crews responded to the scene to extinguish the flames. We were informed that, due to the fire, it is unclear whether the victim will be displaced because of the damage done to their apartment complex. Upon arrival, fire officials reported seeing smoke and flames coming out of a home. The Seminole County Fire Department and the Oviedo Fire Department battled the fire. A man and a woman were killed in a head-on crash with a driver who attempted to overtake traffic in a no-passing zone Friday night in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
