A fatal crash has shut down all express lanes on Interstate 95 northbound in Boca Raton on Friday morning. The wreck happened near Palmetto Park Road, and all northbound express lanes are shut down starting at Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach. All regular travel lanes are open. BARTOW, Fla. – A man accused of hitting and killing a Bartow High School student and leaving the scene on Wednesday morning has been arrested. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Edgardo Joel Rosado Perez, 41, of Lakeland, dropped his 18-year-old daughter off at Bartow High School and was involved in a minor crash.  Troopers say he left the scene of the crash in a 2018 Hyundai sedan.  While speeding northbound on Jackson Street near Pearl Street, troopers say he hit and killed an 18-year-old,

TAMPA, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a motorcyclist who killed a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash last week in Hillsborough County.  More than a week after the deadly crash, FHP released surveillance video of the incident. The hit-and-run happened on Hillsborough Avenue near George Road shortly after midnight on March 18, according to troopers.  Investigators said the 32-year-old man from El Salvador was trying to cross Hillsborough Avenue when the motorcycle hit him at a high rate of speed.

DeLAND, Fla. – An 81-year-old DeLand man was struck and killed early Friday in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The fatal wreck happened around 5 a.m. on westbound International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) near Lanscam Lane, just east of DeLand.
