A 49-year-old man is now dead after a crash late Thursday night. It happened where Fruitville Road meets Paramount. A man driving a van was sitting in the driveway of 5577 Fruitville Road, waiting to turn. Eventually he did–directly into the path of the deceased.  A 49-year-old Palm Bay man was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Melbourne, police said. The fatal wreck happened on Eber Boulevard at Forest Lake Drive.
