Deputies are currently investigating a shooting that occurred at a Brooksville motel on Wednesday night.  A shooting overnight at an Escambia County bar is under investigation. Deputies were called to Mugs & Jugs on Scenic Highway around 1:15 a.m. for an unknown disturbance. A crash Thursday morning involving a motorcycle and a Toyota sedan left one person dead and disrupted traffic on I-95 southbound near Baymeadows Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was speeding southbound on I-95 just before 3 a.m. when it slammed into the back of the Toyota. A murder suspect was killed after a traffic stop turned into an exchange of gunfire with deputies near Suncoast Drive and Laurel Lane in Suncoast Estates.
