Traffic cameras show the lanes completely blocked off at I-95 southbound close to the Palm Beach International Airport ramp at exit 69B, just before the Belvedere Road exit. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left three people injured Thursday night. According to BSO spokeswoman Miranda Grossman, the shooting was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Southeast 10th Avenue and Southeast Fourth Avenue. She said deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene and found two males who were suffering from gunshot wounds. A man in his 60s from Orange County was found unresponsive in his yard on Thursday. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says he was pronounced dead upon their arrival. A Bradenton man is under arrest for DUI manslaughter after the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said he drove drunk and caused a fiery and deadly crash near West Palm Beach early Friday. A 13-year-old girl riding a bicycle in Brevard County was struck and killed Thursday afternoon by a vehicle, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The fatal crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on Aurora Road near Cecilia Street. The FHP said a Groveland woman was driving a 2013 Dodge Durango west on Aurora Road when the girl was trying to cross the street but was not in a crosswalk. A 7-year-old girl has died after a collision on Gazelle Drive in North Fort Myers. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 69-year-old man driving a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Gazelle Drive Thursday afternoon. The child was on a side road, located on the north side of Gazelle Drive, and entered the direct path of the approaching Chevrolet. The front left of the Chevrolet collided with the child. A man has died after he was shot by a Jacksonville sheriff’s officer Thursday. He has now been identified by JSO as 30-year-old Dejuane Aki Hayden.  Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said officers were conducting surveillance in the 2900 block of Justina Road around 4 p.m. when the incident happened. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Chief Alan Parker said officers watched three men, including Hayden, “flashing guns back and forth” and conducting drug transactions. Photo by: firstcoastnews A semi-truck overturned on Interstate 95 near County Road 210 in St. Johns County Thursday night after an SUV suffered a “tire malfunction,” according to Florida Highway Patrol, causing southbound traffic in the area to be backed up for hours. FHP’s crash report states that at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, the SUV and semi-truck were traveling south on I-95, one mile north of CR-210; the SUV was in left lane, while the semi-truck was in the right lane.

Less than 24 hours after a tornado outbreak killed at least six people in St. Lucie County, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis visited the hurricane-ravaged county on Thursday.
