 A 17-year-old was shot in Tarpon Springs on Wednesday night, according to police. Officials say officers responded to the 1000 block of Starlight Cove just after 11 p.m. According to the police department, officers found a 17-year-old with a single, non-life-threatening gunshot injury. Two people died during a house fire on Friday morning in Miami-Dade County’s Brownsville neighborhood. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the house near the 1900 block of Northwest 53 Street. Two died after cardiac arrest, according to fire rescue. One person died Thursday night in a trailer fire in Orange County, according to fire rescue. The fire happened on Lake Standish Boulevard, west of Apopka. Orange County Fire Rescue said two people called 911 to report the fire, which was spreading to nearby trees and to the property of one the callers.
