St. Pete man dies day after St. Petersburg roll-over crash

2 people visiting Florida killed in head-on crash on SR-60 near Lake Wales

Two people were killed in a head-on crash on State Road 60 Tuesday afternoon. It happened near River Ranch Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.  A Florida reporter witnessed an officer-involved shooting Tuesday at around noon, according to NBC station WESH. Deputies arrest sister of man accused of ramming Hillsborough County deputy during traffic stop

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that it arrested the sister of the man accused of injuring a deputy during a traffic stop earlier this month. The Florida Department of Transportation says a semitrailer crashed on I-75 southbound Tuesday morning, causing major traffic backups in Collier County. Woman shot in North Lauderdale: BSO

A woman was shot Monday evening in North Lauderdale, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.  The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot at around 6:44 p.m. in the 1000 block of Southwest 76th Avenue. 77-year-old man arrested for shooting at Santa Rosa County SWAT in Milton

 A 77-year-old homeless man was arrested for Saturday afternoon’s incident in Milton where he allegedly fired nine rounds at Santa Rosa County SWAT, according to the sheriff’s office.
