Lanes clear after crash blocks traffic on SR-408 into Orlando, police say.

A crash on State Road 408 stifled traffic heading into Orlando Thursday morning, according to police. The multi-vehicle crash occurred westbound approaching Mills, police said around 7:35 a.m. on social media. An update within the hour stated the roadway was back open. St. Pete man accused of stabbing girlfriend to death: Deputies.

 A St. Petersburg man was arrested for stabbing his girlfriend to death over the weekend, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.  Rifet Redzic, 53, is accused of stabbing his girlfriend, 50-year-old Nafa Secic, multiple times on March 9, according to deputies.  Officials said they responded to a residence on 62nd Avenue North in unincorporated St. Pete after receiving reports of a suicidal subject. Deputies are investigating after a person was hit and killed by a train near Seffner late Monday night. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call around 11:30 p.m. reporting a body on the railroad tracks on Parsons Avenue. Two people were robbed of their expensive jewelry Wednesday night while they were inside a restaurant in Miami near Midtown, authorities confirmed. There’s new information about a teacher assistant accused of molesting a 12-year-old male student, and it is shocking, to say the least. Lauren King was arrested after detectives found more than 4,000 sexual texts between her and a student.
