Photo by: wear Two people were injured after a crash involving an ECAT bus in Escambia County on Friday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The crash happened on North L Street on West Jordan Street at around 11:30 a.m. According to FHP, an ECAT bus driven by a 62-year-old Pensacola man was carrying two passengers, an 18-year-old Pensacola woman and a 58-year-old Pensacola man. The bus was traveling north on North L Street and approaching West Jordan Street.

Photo by: Local10 A fire erupted Monday morning at a four-story apartment building in the city of Miami, and a man was found shot on the third floor of the building, authorities confirmed. Sky 10 was above the building, located at 431 Northwest Third St., around 9 a.m. as heavy smoke was coming from the building. City of Miami Fire-Rescue Lt. Pete Sanchez confirmed that there were “multiple patients.” According to first responders, the call came in around 8:15 a.m.

A mother was arrested in Daytona Beach after a child nearly drowned in a bathtub, according to the police department. Karina Mustafa, 29, was taken into custody Sunday. According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, the child’s father called 911 around 12:45 p.m. after he found the child unresponsive in the tub. A motorcyclist was killed in Melbourne following a crash early Saturday, police said.  Officers said they responded to the area of West Nasa Boulevard and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in response to a crash involving a Tesla and a motorcycle.  When they arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the motorcyclist had sustained life-threatening injuries.  An initial investigation revealed that the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on West Nasa Boulevard while the Tesla driver was traveling westbound

At around 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, Ocala Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the Ocala International Airport (1770 SW 60th Avenue) after a pilot reported in a distress call that his plane had crashed, according to OFR.  A 25-year-old Lake City man was killed Saturday night after overturning a pickup truck on County Road 250 in Columbia County. At approximately 10:10 p.m. on C.R. 250 near NE Thomas Camp Road, a Florida Highway Patrol report said a 2003 Toyota Tundra was traveling east when it veered off the roadway.  The report said the driver attempted to correct the vehicle’s direction, but overcorrected leading the vehicle to collide with a utility pole and overturn. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) wants to find the driver of a white sedan that struck and killed a young bicyclist in North Lauderdale early Thursday morning. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver was heading north on North State Road 7 around 1 a.m. when the sedan veered into the bike lane and collided with the young rider. A 45-year-old Milton man is dead after an ATV crashing into a tree overnight Friday, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The crash happened in the area of Wallace Lake Road and Big Sky Drive at around 12:30 a.m. According to FHP, the ATV was traveling east on Wallace Lake Road before traveling off road and striking a tree. Troopers say the 45-year-old driver was thrown off the ATV due to the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A teenage girl was injured Saturday night in a Fort Pierce shooting that started with a fight outside a community center, according to police. In a statement, the Fort Pierce Police Department explained officers were called shortly after 8 p.m. to an intersection outside the Lincoln Park Community Center, on Avenue M, after receiving a report of gunfire in the area.
