A fight involving a crowd of about 200 juveniles broke out at the South Florida Fair over the weekend. One person has died from their injuries sustained during a fire on Dewey Street in Hollywood, according to a Hollywood authorities. Brooksville woman dies after Monday morning crash

A 54-year-old Brooksville woman died on Monday, Jan. 22, after a one-car accident, the Florida Highway Patrol said. At about 7:45 a.m., her Nissan Altima was traveling west on Wiscon Road.  West of Mobley Road, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which departed the roadway, entered the north shoulder and struck a tree.  The unrestrained driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. Several Broward County residents were left without power following a crash early Sunday morning. It happened at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 50th Avenue and 12th Street in Lauderhill. A man was killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Sarasota County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
